Lorraine Elliott AM Education Fund

Throughout her life, Lorraine Elliott AM demonstrated a passion and commitment to the arts and education and as President of the ACMI Board, was a vocal advocate for engaging children with the moving image as a learning experience.

To honour Lorraine’s work and memory, and in consultation with the Elliott family, ACMI is proud to launch the Lorraine Elliott AM Education Fund.

Your gift to this fund enables young women from disadvantaged backgrounds access to our award-winning digital arts and educational programs.

Last year our award-winning education programs attracted around 70,000 students and teachers. This new fund will help further that important work, igniting creativity and fostering learning for future generations, especially young women interested in the collision between Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM).

If you would like to contribute to the fund, donate today.

All donations over $2.00 are tax deductible.

We currently have two scholarships available for workshops in the January holiday period. They are for our Young Coders and Advanced Make a Movie workshops. Scholarships cover the workshop entry fee, lunch each day and travel costs.
