In celebration of SCORSESE, and the DVD release of Vinyl Season 1, we present a special cinema screening of the ambitious two-hour series pilot, directed by Martin Scorsese.

Created by Scorsese, Mick Jagger, Rich Cohen and Terence Winter, the world of 70s Downtown New York has been brought back to wild, decaying, energetic life in this lavish 10-part American drama series focusing on the life and times (and music) of record executive, Richie Finestra (Bobby Cannavale) as he hustles to make a career out of the city's diverse music scene.

No Longer Available.
  • We are taking Vinyl from the small screen to cinema for this special event, as we bring an exclusive theatrical viewing of the intense first episode to the big screen for the first time and showcase the series’ bold and seedy vision of a truly decadent era.

This special screening will include a short introduction by writer and critic Craig Mathieson (The Sunday Age, Rolling Stone) exploring the music industry of the 1970s, and will conclude with a ‘vino and vinyl’ session, as DJ JNett hits the decks and spins the best of the 70s in the ACMI Bar & Café.
