  • Initiated by artist-duo M+M, this film project sees artists John Bock, Keren Cytter, Julian Rosefeldt and Tobias Zielony, as well as the artist collectives Chicks on Speed and M+M each contribute a short film that together reflect on the themes and motifs in L’Age d’Or. Each episode in Buñuel's film has distinctive thematic and stylistic features, which have been deliberately paired with the concerns of the participating artists. The resulting films culminate– just like the six segments of the scorpion’s jointed tail – in a poisonous sting.
