Floating in from Frankston on a new wave of analogue wizardry, Sleep D is Corey Kikos and Maryos Syawish, an artistic duo that have spent their youth exploring electronic and experimental sound production and ways to play dance music live. Their label, Butter Sessions Records, is known for underground parties in abandoned and intimate spaces, always keeping the sounds new while paying respect to early house and techno pioneers.
Equally known for their DJ sets and live performances working vintage synths and analogue gear, Sleep D turned Melbourne Music Week on its head, while their inclusion in the Boiler Room Melbourne line-up further confirmed them as an exciting act to watch in Australia’s growing house and techno landscape.
Playing a live AV show as part of Bowie late nights, they will be joined by Melbourne’s real 24-hour party people – Pleasure Planet DJs & Dancers – who have made a home for new forward-thinking techno of the highest order at their famous day and night events.
Please note: DJ from 6pm - Band from 7.30pm.
To secure your spot to Sleep D, book any exhibition session from 5pm on the day of the event.
