Australia's leading arts and social change company, Big hART is celebrated for making virtuosic artworks with the invisible, marginalised and disadvantaged groups in our community.
Through collaborating with these people, Big hART is able to give these groups a voice and provide them with the tools they need to tell their own stories. Creating critically-acclaimed, award-winning works of art in various forms in the process.
This intimate masterclass will look at the Big hART model from project concept, to entering a community, developing the work, building partnerships and creating social impact and lasting change. Delivered by a team of Big hART's creative producers and artists, it is targeted at arts/media practitioners and artists.
All proceeds go towards Big hART’s Yijala Yala Project’s ‘One in Two’ campaign, which aims to address the fact that every second young person in juvenile detention in Australia is Indigenous.
