Kate Challis RAKA Award is hosted by the Australian Centre, School of Culture and Communication, The Melbourne University. The 2014 award, presented in partnership with ACMI, honours the best Indigenous screenwriting from the past five years.

The prestigious University of Melbourne, Kate Challis RAKA award celebrates the creative talent of Indigenous artists. Each year a different art form is showcased and in 2014 excellence in scriptwriting for film or television is acknowledged.
