Games and apps are now an integral part of our lives – from how we learn and entertain ourselves, to how we interact with others and navigate an increasingly digital landscape.
In this five day workshop, kids will get the opportunity to work on developing a complex game in MIT’s Scratch game coding application. It provides a fantastic chance for them develop their digital literacy along with creative and critical thinking skills.
The process will allow them to explore all the aspects of creating a game, including coding, art design, sound design and playtesting.
Recommended for children aged 9-14.
Children will require access to an email address to create an account to save their games.
Tickets must be purchased in advance. In the event of cancellation, ticket holders are notified directly and a full refund is provided.
Workshop runs each day from 10am – 4pm.
