Martin Scorsese Presents
Masterpieces of Polish Cinema
5 Oct - 26 Oct
Curated by Martin Scorsese, this season includes works by such luminaries as Andrzej Wajda and Krzysztof Kieślowski. Spanning three decades between 1957 and 1987, these powerful films capture and critique Poland’s social and political upheaval over that time.
Screening exclusively at ACMI, the prints of all films have been digitally re-mastered and newly subtitled with the assistance of Scorsese's Film Foundation. With thanks to The Film Foundation, DI Factory, KinoRP project and Propaganda Foundation.
