Private Dzurabaev must escort the accused to army headquarters, yet he also finds himself unable to fulfil this order. The soldiers are surrounded by the enemy and find themselves on the verge of numerous encounters with death and the potential for sabotage.
The comprehensive direction and careful construction of the script allows the film to examine the bonding of these two characters, depicting their professionalism and often heroic acts, without resorting to sensationalism or sentimentality. The screening offers a timely opportunity to reflect on the 70th anniversary of Victory Day.
