Muppet Music Moments

Unclassified All Ages

21 Sep - 10 Oct

Music and the Muppets go together like pigs and frogs and these classical musical numbers highlight some of the best of both.

This popular collection features a wide range of performances from many musical genres and features guest stars like Elton John, Paul Simon, Debbie Harry and a cavalcade of stars.

No Longer Available.
  • Opening, of course, with the famous title sequence from The Muppet Show, this program features back to back, (off the) wall to wall top-shelf musical numbers.

But, as we know, things on The Muppet Show don’t always go according to plan; many musical numbers go  awry at the hands of our furry pals who really only ever try to do the right thing.

With so much material to choose from, this program provides many side-splitting moments including Gonzo’s fantastic version of the Village People’s ‘Macho Man’ (surrounded by a chorus of chickens), and Linda Ronstadt singing ‘Blue Bayou’ with backup by frogs and hillbillies. And of course the action is propelled by Statler and Waldorf heckling from the balcony with some riotous gags.

All we can say is “bring on the da bear!”
