Rowlf the Dog was the first true Muppet character to appear on television. Over the decades, his character really didn’t change all that much from that first appearance, which had the effect of making him one of Henson’s most popular and enduring characters. Rowlf became a staple of the Henson family and also one of the most versatile.
This riotous compilation takes us through some of Rowlf’s finest and most memorable moments and in so doing not only charts the character’s history, but Henson’s himself.
