Hayao Miyazaki, the award-winning director of Spirited Away, returns with this feature-length animation based on the book of the same name by British author Diana Wynne Jones. Young Sophie works in a milliner's shop in a fantastical turn-of-the-century European village. Incurring the wrath of the jealous Witch of the Waste, Sophie is transformed into a ninety-year-old woman, sending her into a spin.
