Philippe Parreno: Thenabouts
French artist Philippe Parreno is one of the most significant contemporary artists working at the intersection of art and film. Philippe Parreno: Thenabouts presents Parreno’s filmic works as an evolving cinematic experience within the gallery. Choreographed as an orchestration of films, lighting, sound, and sculptural elements, the exhibition invites us into a world that unsettles our assumptions about reality, memory and the passage of time.
Join ACMI Education and Art Education Victoria (AEV) on Tuesday 6 December to experience Philippe Parreno: Thenabouts followed by an In Conversation event featuring this internationally recognised artist and Dr Amelia Barikin.
Time: Gallery visit: 4.30 - 6pm
In Conversation: 6pm (in Studio 1)
